Test and Beta Data

From time to time, we may invite users or members of our community to share documents, files or information with us for the purpose of testing and improving MOLO’s features before full public launch (“Test Data”).

Who we are

MOLO Assistant is operated by MOLO App Limited, registered in the UK (15959344).

We are committed to protecting your privacy and data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) as a data controller.

What we collect
Test Data may include documents such as school letters, club information, calendars, schedules or similar everyday life administration materials. Where you share personal data with us about another person (for example, your spouse or children), you must ensure that you have the right to share that personal data with us. You must not share any personal data with us about any person if you do not have their permission to do so (and you must not share any information about any child unless you are their parent or legal guardian).

You must not share any special category or sensitive personal data with us (data relating to a person’s racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, genetic data, biometric data, health data, sex life, and sexual orientation).

You may anonymise documents before sending them if you wish.

How we use your data
We use Test Data solely to:

• Test and improve MOLO’s product features

• Train and evaluate document and data-extraction functionality

• Identify and fix errors before launch

We do not use Test Data for marketing or unrelated purposes.

How we store and protect it

Only authorised members of the MOLO team have access to your personal data.  We use various third party software systems to deliver the services, and share your personal data with them (including WhatsApp, Google Workspace, ChatGPT (Open AI)). Some of these third parties are located outside of the UK and therefore your personal data will be transferred to their location. 

We have contracts in place with all of these third parties to protect your data and ensure it is transferred lawfully.

We do not sell or share your data with other third parties.

How long we keep it
We retain Test Data only for as long as necessary to complete testing.
Unless you request earlier deletion, Test Data will be deleted within a maximum of 30 days after receipt.

Your rights
You can:

• Ask us what Test Data we hold about you

• Ask us to delete your Test Data at any time

• Withdraw your permission for us to use your Test Data

Submitting Test Data
By sending us Test Data, you confirm that:

• You have the right to share it

• You understand how it will be used

• You agree to its use for testing as described above
